Maastricht University regularly ranks as one of Europe’s leading universities. The university has been placed in the top 300 universities in the world by five major ranking tables. More than 22,000 students were studying in October 2021, 56% of whom were from abroad. The student population numbered 129 nationalities. The university has just over 4200 employees.
We facilitate our VR Workshop not only for Businesses, NGO’s and Governments but also for Universities and other educational institutions.
Circular Leadership took 30 students of the master’s programme Global Supply Chain Management and Change of Maastricht University School of Business and Economics virtually into space.
The aim of the VR experience was to re-create the ‘Overview Experience’ for the participants. The phenomenon that turns astronauts into strongly motivated eco-activist once they their return on earth.

Afterwards the students not only knew (cognitive insight with the head) but also deeply felt (emotional wisdom with the heart) the utmost importance of sustainability and circularity for a just and regenerative economy/society.
