Sustainable connecting governance in a complex world.
As part of the Masterclass Two-Day 2025 for healthcare administrators, we facilitated the VR Workshop EARTH FROM SPACE. Central to this were the questions:
The organic connection – How do humans, nature and care relate to each other?
The internal connection: What does all this mean for us as administrators?
After kicking off with the virtual space journey, we examined the development of life on earth (biosphere, atmosphere and oceans) over a 100-year time period: 1970 – 2020, the past 50 years and 2020 – 2070, the next 50 years.
A deep awareness dive into man’s impact on life on earth and a look at the disastrous consequences in the future if we do not drastically change our current way of working, living and consuming.
But there are also reasons to be hopeful! Because in the Netherlands alone, there are tens of thousands of initiatives by citizens, governments, civil society organisations and companies, working towards a more sustainable future. The so-called undercurrent, which can be supported and nurtured to create societal tipping points.
Using numerous examples of steps being taken in healthcare. Using alliances of healthcare administrators, green teams, sustainability managers, patient organisations and interest groups like caring doctors, caring farmers and many others.
A day of reflection, inspiration, hope and action!
